Start a New Service
Starting Your New Service
- New customers are encouraged to start new service in person. If that is impossible, please submit information to email@example.com or fax 405-350-8909.
- Complete and submit your new service application.
- Submit two forms of ID, one must be a photo ID.
- Pay the required deposit.
- Pay any unpaid prior balances owed to the City of Yukon.
- Schedule a meter turn on time with our office.
Please be aware that we must receive your completed new service application form, ID, and deposit before we will turn on the meter at your new address. Meters are turned on by appointment time, Monday through Friday, between 9 am and 4 pm. We ask that you arrange a 60-minute time frame with us. Our staff will come by, verify that someone at least 18 years of age is present and turn the meter on. Please contact us at 405-350-3910 or email the Utility Billing Department. We only respond to emails during our regular hours.
Deposits are $85 per meter for residential accounts and $150 per meter for commercial accounts. Please be aware that a $3 fee is charged per each credit/debit card transaction. Details about deposits are included under "New Customers."
Helpful Information for New Customers
Payment Due Date
Bills are mailed by the last business day of each month and are always due on the 15th day of the following month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday observed by the City of Yukon, the following business day becomes the due date. Late fees are assessed on accounts with balances not paid on time. They are $10 for residential accounts and 10% of the outstanding balance on commercial accounts.
Samaritan EMS CareNet Ambulance Membership
A $3.65 monthly charge is added to the customer's bill unless they choose to opt-out at the time the new service is started. Find more details by reading the related FAQs.
Customers receive an electronic bill each month rather than a paper bill through the mail. Find enrollment forms on the Paperless Billing page.
